Our meeting was held at the Clinchfield Senior Adult Center in Erwin, TN on December 3, 2018 with 30 members attending. We ate, we played, and we sang Christmas Carols.  The buffet was good, the games by Grace Ann Clark were fun, and Charlie Ervin singing and playing his guitar surprised us all - Christmas Carols first and then some bluegrass like "In the Pines".  He plays at the Bogart Bowman Cabin, 5012 Unicoi Drive, Unicoi, TN.  They have a jam session there on Monday nights at 6 PM.

Joey Lewis shared a tidbit not found in any books from his travels around the country looking for Blue Ridge Pottery.  "Macy's around the country sold Blue Ridge Pottery year round especially during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons so they hired some of the Blue Ridge painters to come and sit in their windows to paint the Turkey Plate during November and the Christmas Tree plates in December," Lewis said.
