Our 2017  $500 scholarship committee, along with their chairman Joey Lewis, selected Hannah Jones, a graduate of Unicoi County High School.  She is attending Premier Cosmetology Academy of Johnson City.

ANNUAL $500 SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS

Joey Lewis and our President Lisa Hensley present Deanna Cooper with the award in 2015 to attend the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.

Joey Lewis presents Kaitlyn Phillips with our award for 2016.  She will be attending the University of Tennessee for a future in Pharmacy. 

​Joey Lewis presents Victoria Hyde with the award in 2014 for a degree in Education at NE State.

Lela Toney, Unicoi County High School graduate, wins the 2019 - $500 Scholarship from the Blue Ridge Pottery Club.  She will be attending East Tennessee State University for a degree in nursing.  Our Vice President, Joey Lewis, presents the award.

The 2020 winner of our $500 scholarship was Bernice LuQuin from Unicoi County High School in Erwin, TN.  She will be studying pre-law at Milligan College in Elizabethton, TN.  Joey Lewis, our Vice President, also presented her with a Blue Ridge Pottery pitcher called Sculptured Fruit.

​Trey Hatcher wins the 2018 Scholarship Award presented to him by Joey Lewis.  Trey will be attending the University of Tennessee and majoring in Chemical Engineering. 

Joey Lewis congratulates Mariana Graybeal, the 2021 winner of our $500 scholarship.  She graduated from Unicoi County High School and came to our June 7th meeting to introduce herself.  She will be attending the Southeastern Freewill Baptist College in Wendell, NC which is near Raleigh.  Her plans include becoming a Missionary.
